Cleaning Services for Scottish Distilleries
Distillery environments need a cleaning contractor that understands hygiene standards, production schedules, and the value of presentation. Finding a team that can handle both sides is not always straightforward. Production areas need food-safe chemicals and strict hygiene protocols. Visitor-facing spaces need to look the part, often at short notice.
NEREC provides specialist cleaning for Scottish distilleries, covering warehouses, production areas, visitor spaces, and external surfaces. We work around your operation and your schedule.

Why NEREC
Working to Distillery Standards
Distilleries are production environments and visitor destinations at the same time. That combination is not always easy to clean around. Production areas need food-safe chemical handling and proper hygiene protocols. Visitor-facing spaces need to look presentable, sometimes with very little notice.
NEREC has worked across distilleries and food production environments since 2019. Our team handles both sides: the compliance-driven work in production areas and the presentation standards that matter when visitors are on site.
We use our own trained team on every job, no subcontracting. The same people show up, they know your site, and they take direct accountability for the work. Every quote and enquiry gets a response the same day.

How we work
Fitted Around Your Production Schedule
Distillery cleaning has to work around production, not the other way around. Downtime windows vary. Some sites batch clean between production runs, others need ongoing maintenance without interrupting daily operations. We talk through your schedule before we start and build the programme around it.
For sites that run seven days a week or have weekend production, we are available across all seven days. For reactive work, whether that is a spill, a pre-visit clean, or something that comes up outside a planned schedule, we respond the same day.
All work is carried out using chemicals appropriate for food production environments. Full COSHH documentation and method statements are provided where needed for your site compliance records.
